1 Trimester

Many people have asked me how I'm feeling this time around and my answer is always the same:

Being pregnant with Isaac, I went to work and as able to eat/pee and so anything else I needed or wanted to do when I needed and wanted to do it.  This time around, I get ready to eat something and suddenly I have a best friend (Isaac) that is also hungry (even though he just ate 1 egg, 1 waffle and 1 piece of fruit).  And so I share, without really thinking, and go about the rest of my morning.  Suddenly, 2 hours later, I'm beyond hungry, cranky and about to throw up.

I quickly learned to make two of everything I was going to make for myself, so my little friend could be satisfied and I wouldn't end up hungry and feeling sick.  Once I got that under control I started to feel so much better.

Of course I was exhausted, just like most pregnant people, but other wise I feel great.   I've been able to keep up with running (or should I say jogging) and working out, which makes me feel a million times better! And over all, it's not to bad.

There are a few things that are difficult this time around, that I didn't have to deal with last time:
1) Holding Isaac.  He's suddenly wanting to be held, and I find myself telling him I can only give him hugs, sad, but true. He's just shy of 30lbs and after 15 mins of holding him, my back hurts for the rest of the day.

2) Bending over to pick up toys or reaching in the back of the car to give Isaac something.   It's not something you think about, but you move differently when you have a 2 year old that needs/wants something.

Overall I feel good, we'll see once this belly gets bigger!!
