Cousins
Isaac is LOVED by his cousins. Whenever they come over, they are always asking if they can hold him. They love talking to him, giving him hugs and trying to make him laugh. He is one blessed boy to have so much love!
Chiara
We had such fun playing with Chiara. She is getting SO big. I miss getting to see her weekly, but I was thankful for the time we did get to spend with her! She loves her Uncle, Sadie and baby Isaac!

Easter Trails...
Every year, for as long as I can remember, the Easter Bunny has left a trail leaning to our “Easter presents”. This year, my mom (THE BUNNY!) made Isaac’s first Easter trail! I, of course, had to pick up the M&Ms for him, but it sure looks like he was having fun! Daddy will enjoy the Easter treats! I love that the tradition will live on with Isaac...

3 Months
Isaac turned three months on Easter! He is getting so big and changing daily. It seems every morning I wake up and think, did he grow another inch?!! He is growing and changing before our very eyes. At three months he loves to smile, laugh and talk to anyone that will talk back to him. He would much rather sit and have a conversation with someone that play on the floor with his toys (a good thing and bad thing all at the same time, how can I get anything done when I’m talking to Isaac all day?!). He is trying so hard to learn to suck his thumb and gets very frustrated when it doesn’t work his way. He has been playing on his play mat daily and now sits in the entertainment thingy-ma-bob (pictures included). He likes to sit up straight and is constantly leaning forward to sit up more! Can’t wait to see what the next month of change brings (if only I could freeze time!)

Falling in love
I think I fall in love with Isaac more and more each day. There isn't a moment that passes that I don't think of him and think how blessed I am that he's mine! I love it!!
More sleep, please?!
Isaac is starting to sleep longer at night (I hope I'm not setting myself up for an all nighter by posting this). For the most part he goes 6 hours without eating and 5 hours of sleep before his first wake up, then eats and heads back to sleep for another 3 hours. So, a typically night would look like this: Nurse at 7:30pm Bath Book Swaddle Asleep by 8:30pm Up around 1:30am-2am Eat Back to sleep by 2 or 2:30am Asleep until 5:30am Ok..I think you get the point. Well, so, I've been rocking Isaac to sleep at night. With his belly and bad digestion, I can't bring myself to put him in his rocker and let him cry. There will be a time and place for that, maybe if I can get through it, but the time is not right now!! I never thought I would be the mom that rocks her baby, but I've come to LOVE it. It's my favorite part of the day and no matter what's going on in my world, or how tired I am, everything seems to make sense in those moments. Last night it was Austin's turn to put Isaac to bed. We're attempting to rotate a schedule, so we both get time putting him to sleep and he learns to go to sleep no matter who's home. So into the room Austin went and out he came five mintues later. I was shocked. "He's asleep already", I asked. "No, wide awake and in his rocker". He made a few fussing cries, to which Austin went back in to comfort him and back to sleep he want. And get this, he slept until 4AM! That's right, his schedule looked more like this: 6:45pm-Nurse Bath Book Swaddle Sleep by 8:15pm AWAKE AT 4AM!! I on the other hand was awake at 3am, just waiting for him to wake up. Thankfully I was able to fall back to sleep until I heard him fussing around 4am! I couldn't believe it. Let's hope Austin's method works again tonight! (on a side note, it makes me sad to think that my baby might not NEED me to rock him to sleep! now I understand why mom's get themselves in a position where they are doing something that is more just for their comfort than the kids.)
Same Name
At my Breastfeeding Group last week I meet a really sweet Mom and her little girl Olivia. We started talking and I told her that if Isaac had been a girl, his name would have been Olivia, she laughed and said that if Olivia had been a boy he would have been named Isaac. Guess they are meants to be friends! (I have a picture of the four of us together, as soon as I upload it, I'll add it to this post)
