Rock Star

This is the personality I see most days! The crazy, funny and wacko kid.  I think he gets some of his crazyness from his Mama and I'm proud of it! We beat to a different drum buddy, sorry, you're stuck with me as your Mama!!

I love how he's growing into a little man and learning how to be so silly. He really makes my day that much better, when he's not teething or throwing a temper tantrum that is!

Love you bunting!

Hoping everyone had a blessed Mother's Day!

Just Peachy

Enjoying his "picked" peach!

You Pick!

Austin, Isaac and I headed over to the local Farm this weekend! We went with the intention of just picking peaches, but ended up making a stop at the Organic Garden too!!!

It was SO hot out, but we managed to survive. We got some great veggies and some yummy peaches!

My little farmers! Isaac enjoyed playing in the dirt more than walking around and helping us pick veggies!

My little Farmer Joe! Love this kid!

Making Nana's famous Christmas Stuffed Artichokes this week for dinner...can't wait! They are going to be so yummy!

Picking the peaches. Isaac even managed to pick one and eat one too! If you go picking, for anything, you have to eat at least one while you are stroller around!

Some of our veggies/fruit soaking and getting clean!

Fish Face

This is the face I see, when I ask "What does a fishy say"

It's also the face I see when someone is in a giving mood and wants to kiss everyone!!
This face makes everything else melt away!
Hoping you all get fish kisses this week!
Happy Tuesday!

Ultra Sound Update

Isaac had his ultra sound yesterday! It was at the Children's Hospital, which didn't feel like a Children's Hospital at all.  Let me vent for one second, minimal toys, barely anything to entertain the poor kid during the 45 minute procedure, Drs that didn't know how to interact with kids, and even the TV was on an adult show (not that Isaac watches TV, but still, I was hoping for some kind of distraction). Ok, thank you, I'm done with that.

Anyway, the procedure went as can be expected for a 1 yr old who hasn't eaten in 4 hours (and usually eats every hour or two, if he's awake).  The Dr came in to review and re-ultra sound him, just to double check a few things. They kept asking me if he was constipated because he appeared to have a lot of extra stool in his bowels. (sorry if that's to much information).  But over all the Dr. said he looked ok. We'll get the "offical" results sometime today or tomorrow!

I have some pictures of our adventure! I'll try to post them sometime this weekend.
Thanks for all the prayers!

"Mownay"

Isaac has come to love his swaddle blankets. He sleeps with one every night! Thank goodness they come in a set of 4, so one is always clean and if we lose one it will be replaceable.

He's nicknamed his blanket "Mownay" it sounds like a cross between the the famous painter Monet and "money".  We have NO idea where he came out with this name, but it's cute and I kind of like that he named it himself!

Monway usually stays in Isaac's crib, but lately he's bring pulling him (the blanket...yes, I refer to Monway as a him!) out, giving him a quick hug and then throwing him on the ground. No big deal, right?! Today he decided he wanted Monway to read books with him.

Later today, while we were out, he started asking for Mownay in the car. Not sure that we are going to let him (yes, the blanket) out of the house, thinking that might be a habit.  A bad habit that will only lead to one other thing I have to grab and stuff in my bag before we leave. Anyway...

Here are a few pictures of his beloved Mownay!
