My little man is growing up...

It seems, everyday that passes, Isaac gets a little big! I find myself thinking back to when, he couldn't reach the counter tops and could barely see over the chair he was pushing.  When did he get to be so big?

Love those baby toes, and the fact that he crosses his legs!

 Those little hands, they get into anything and everything..but they also make the best "blow kisses" motion!! 

15 Month Check up

Isaac has his 15month check up yesterday. He did great! The Dr. couldn't believe how well he sat still and how quiet he was. To be honest, I couldn't either. Normally my kiddos is running around nonstop. But he was a champ and just sad there while the Dr. did all her exams.

His Stats:
Weight: 23lbs 8oz
Height: 31inches

He is in the 25%-50% for Weight and Head circumference and 75% for his height.  He's going to be a tall boy, just like his Daddy!

The Dr. did find a little "fullness" on the right side of his belly, she thinks it's related to stools, but wanted to double check, as stools are often on the left side of the body.  That said, we are going to have a ultrasound done next Wednesday on his belly.  I'll write more on that experience sometime next week.  Please keep our little man in your prayers, I'll keep everyone updated!!

Side note: 11:30a is the BEST time to see the Dr. Clearly they are all trying to finish up so they can take their lunch break, which meant an in and out kind of visit.

Costco

Costco isn't just amazing for their yummy bulk food, it's also fantastic for entertaining kids...all...day...long. 

I've tripped over this box a few times now, but it's worth it if it means I making breakfast and packing a lunch without a kiddo hugging my leg! 

Trying to teach him to say "Cheese"..he's getting the hang of it! 

There is nothing I like more than baby toes...Oh I just want to eat those stinky feet!!

Then to now

How have we gone from this....

To this..in just 15 short months? 

It's hard to believe Isaac is already 15 months (and 2 days to be exact!).  The journey thus far has been challenging, but filled with so many beautiful moments. I never thought I could love this little nugget so much.  He's brings a lot of joy, laughs and gray hairs to this mama!!

Lately, I've had the baby itch, maybe because 7, yes 7 of my close friends are pregnant with baby #2 and all due before Jan. 2013! Or maybe it's just because I miss that cute baby face, the yummy baby smell and all those snuggles.  Then I snap back into reality and remember that those baby snuggles took place mainly in the middle of the night! So for now, I'll just relieve my itch with a little baby love from borrowed baby snuggles!

Picnic

At least once a day, Isaac and I have a picnic.  Not the kind where you put down a blanket, pull out your lunch and sit under the tree: 1-it's way to hot for that 2-Isaac would rather picnic right on the kitchen floor, usually when I'm in the middle of doing something.....

 Like making a protein shake...

and trying to drink it alone! 

 But seriously, who can refuse this face?? I would share a shake with him every morning if it meant sitting on the floor for a little picnic...

And it usually does!
