Prayers needed....
Many weeks ago, I blogged about my girlfriend Rachel, which is currenlty pregnant. I wanted to give everyone and update and ask for as many prayers as possible. Rachel and her husband Claud are expecting a baby girl the end of May. Unfortunately, the baby never fully developed her skull, which caused a tremendous amount of complications. There is a good chance that the baby won’t last very long outside of the womb, and for that reason they have opted to have their daughter become an organ donor. I can’t imagine what they are going through, both physically and emotionally. Just this past Sunday I was talking to Rachel, and tears came to my eyes as we discussed how much pain Rachel is physically in and the battle she is dealing with; wanting her physical pain to be over but not wanting the baby to be born. Prayers for this family are needed and needed in a bad way. They both have faith that God has a plan and purpose for their baby girl, even though they can’t understand it at this time. Please pray that they would feel God’s love, that the baby would be healed but that if she isn’t healed that they will have time with her before she passes away. Pray for their other children and how they’ll respond to a sibling that might never come home. And Pray for an outpouring of love to surround this family and support them through this hard time. Thank you....

Back to the blogging world!
Now that I’m back to work, I have more “free time” to update the blog. I hope to be able to update on a more regular basis, and I really mean it this time. At home there are too many distractions and other things to get done, like snuggle with my little nugget. So, here’s my attempt at catching everyone up to speed on what’s been going on in our world, more importantly, Isaac’s world for the last 6 weeks!
Well-I’m back to work, hence the above statement and this blog. I officially came back last Tuesday and have a new flexible schedule. I’m working Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 7am until 3pm. For now it’s a great schedule. In the morning I drop Isaac off at my SIL’s house, Mahria. Issac gets covered with hugs and kisses all day long and is well taken care of. It’s such a relief to have someone you know, love and trust taking care of your child! I have a feeling Isaac is enjoying his time with his cousins and Aunt.
February came and went with a second visit from my Mom, Babcia! She was such a blessing and a help to us. I loved having her here. There wasn’t a day that went by that she wasn’t helping out, loving on Isaac and getting me out of the house. She was able to finish Isaac’s quilt for me, which was perfect, being that I had no idea how to quilt the quilt. And best of all, she was my Night Time Nanny, taking Isaac in with her to sleep and bring him in only to eat. Since then, he has yet to return to our room, and have I my Mom to thank for that!
You know the saying, “March Madness”?! Our house was just that. We had visitors left and right, causing the month to fly by. Rebecca was the first to arrive. I loved having my Becca in AZ with me. She is such a motivating person, and we accomplished so much. Isaac loved hanging out with his honorary Auntie and sleeping with her at night. Kelly arrived shortly after Rebecca, and proved to be another breath of fresh air. We spent our days relaxing, getting our toes done and just having good conversation. I miss Kelly so much and love when we get to spend time together.
March ended with Isaac and me flying to Boston for a visit. Austin was preparing to take his test for his CFP (he’ll have the results in another month or so) and needed a quiet house, so it was the perfect time to bring Isaac to NBPT to meet his friends and family. I wish I could post all the pictures of everyone he met! What a fun time we had visiting with everyone on Saturday. Thank you all for coming up to hangout with us!
When we landed (by the way, Isaac slept through both flights…what an angle!) Amanda and Dad were there to pick us up! It was special getting to see them both see Isaac for the first time. Spending the weekend together created some great memories and lots of laughs. Isaac is now 2 months old and doing well. He is cooing up a storm and loves to smile. His favorite time tends to be in the morning, which works for this Mama ( I love mornings, although I would like to get a little more sleep!). Laying on his back is his favorite, he could lay on the floor for hours (ok, maybe just 30 minutes) looking at a fan, light or better yet, his play mat. Every day he gets a little bit bigger, stronger and happier! Speaking of stronger…
Here are his stats: Weight-11lbs 9.5oz Height-22.75 inches He’s growing!!!
As I said in the beginning of this forever long post, I really do hope to update the blog more often. Keep checking back!!
**I have yet to figure out how to get the pictures in order, so they are just randoms for the last month!**
Hanging out with Auntie La
